Quest
is a big guy. He is about 26" and weighs about 93 lbs. He has
a great sense of humor. When he is performing at an agility trial, he is
a real crowd pleaser. One of his favorite things to do while we are
waiting for our turn, is to lay on his back with his feet in the air
until someone notices and laughs at him. Once he is on the course he is
amazing though. Quest is a gentle giant. He is my peace keeper.
He hates it when people or dogs argue and he charges in and breaks up any dog
arguments. He has never been in a dog fight - he is just not
interested, but on the other hand, he is not afraid of anything. He is a
real diplomat and gets along with other animals. He is very cuddly
and sweet.
I
used to live in California and I drove over to Arizona to pick him up when I
bought him from Mary in 2002. Quest and Spirit, my 12-1/2 year old are
the best friends I have ever seen. Quest has taken over raising Pirate
and he is doing a great job of it. I could not ask for more if Quest
just teaches Pirate to be like him. Pirate is not quite two years old.
Pirate is #4 in UKC Top Ten White Shepherds for 2008. We are doing a
road trip to Michigan for Premier and the Top Ten. We will leave this
Saturday and be back toward the end of June. I entered Quest in some
of the UKC agility events. He has never done UKC agility before,
but I have no worries he will do well. He does AKC, NADAC, USDAA
and CPE. I am thinking of putting Pirate and Quest in herding
lessons.
I
retired in 2006 and moved to the northwest. Now I just get to play with
the dogs and I love it. I would love to know more about
Adan'ti and what his disposition is like. I see a resemblance in
their heads. and maybe the way he is built? Rhonda
McMahan said you had Quest's mother too. I noted that she died.
You sure have some beautiful dogs.
I
think Adan'ti would be proud of his son! Betty
