Hi Ranelle and Shell –

Here are a couple pictures of Kota’s first night at home.  Justice (my lab) and Meyla (my other Shepherd) are doing great with him.  They were nothing but curious about him when we got home.  After we went all for a walk and all came in the house together, Kota was their newest best friend.  They all played together for a little bit then crashed out.  I tried to give Kota some food but he didn’t have much of an appetite.  I’m guessing there’s just too much newness going on for him right now.  I remember Justice and Meyla both taking a little while to eat right after I brought them home. 

I just wanted to let you know he’s doing good so far.  I’ll update you again in a day or two so you know that he’s eating and everything is ok. 

Thank you so much for everything.  Michael and I are going to give Kota a great life.  Michael will be home sometime between 3/27-3/29 and I plan on taking Kota to the airport with me to pick him up.  He is going to fall to pieces when he sees us both there waiting for him.
